Found an article about it. The piece of shite who hit the blind kid has been arrested. Not sure about the bad arse who decked him

As a side note, the dialogue between the blind kid and his rescuer was a little weird for the situation.
"Are you OK, Austin?"
"I'm frickin' good, Cody."
Maybe just an adrenaline-induced response. I'm curious what transpired before the video.

First week of 4th grade we had a few new kids from another school nearby that closed down. Well our resident bully starts pushing around one of the scrawny new kids completely unprovoked.
All of a sudden one of the other new kids who has been really shy, comes from the side with a left hook and decks the bully with one punch.
New kid (now in our late 20's) still has the nickname smackdown
Bully never bothered anyone again...

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.
It seemed like the kid who knocked the bully out may not have necessarily been on the blind kid's side, but couldn't tolerate someone trying to fight a blind kid. He kind of shoved the blind kid afterwards and then the bully acted surprised that the hero stepped in. Being blind doesn't preclude one from being a dick, so who knows what happened beforehand. Kid should have walked away though.
