Where are the stats on 99 L ? What is NHC waiting on ? They ought to have Levi Cowan running NHC. This shite us ridiculous.

The size of the GFS modeled hurricane is probably what is most interesting. Huge moisture envelope

The models have been pretty inconsistent on this one. Looks like we are about 6-8 days away from landfall depending on path/speed but the models had a much clearer picture of where Fred was headed than this one.

I realize it doesn’t even have a name yet.

Going to interesting to see what the 00z Euro has. At the 12z it had a weak TS into Pecan Island. When both models start agreeing that’s when the trouble starts

It has the potential to be a big system, so it will have issues consolidating but the setup that models are depicting over the Gulf is concerning.
