you have clearly never been to traffic court.

What was this Troopers last name? Was this Troop A? I know it's a stretch but I got a seatbelt ticket from a black LSP Troop A guy who was a fricking prick.

Well I was guilty. HOWEVER. I was working pizza and my habit was to pull out the parking lot while looking up address. There's a light on 61 right there. I always clicked at that light. Trooper heading south from across median saw me and pulled me over. Ticket was only $25 but he was a total dick even though I explained to him my routine and the pizza place was a about 100 feet away in plain view.

I since learnt to click it before leaving the parking lot.

Law enforcement is the Mafia 2.0.

Their business is racketeering and extortion, and they have secured a monopoly.

Idk the troopers name, she told me last night he never gave her a paper ticket. She told me he said "because you caught an attitude Im going to write you a ticket" then never gave her a ticket. She also told me she didnt catch an attitude and just was informing him "I absolutely had my seatbelt on" and he decided that was a bad attitude. Idk if we will get one in the mail or not.

They schedule all of their tickets for the time period (usually 1 or 2 months) on one day. The continuances are all scheduled for the next time they have a court day. Maybe I'm unlucky, but for the probably 20-30 times I've been to court, they show up

Something isn't right with this story. You say she got a ticket, but then you say she didn't actually get a physical ticket?????? If she actually got a ticket she would have to sign it, did she sign anything during the stop?

Ask your wife how far away the trooper was when he turned on the lights or started to stop her.

Take a picture from the same approximate distance/angle with your wife wearing and not wearing her seat belt. Make sure it's the same time of day and she has on the same scrubs.

Mark on the back of the picture which one is which in a discrete manner.

Show both to the trooper and have him tell you in which pic she doesn't have her seat belt on.

If it is as you say, he won't be able to and you will get the ticket tossed.

And how shall he prove that the trooper saw it at that one and only particular distance? And maybe he can't make it out the small detail on a picture but could in real life?

But yea, go ahead with that great idea.

She called me and originally told me she got a ticket and told me the story, when I asked her what the troopers name was later on she told me she doesnt know because he never gave her a paper ticket. As far as I know she never signed anything, I will ask her if she did. Maybe the trooper realized he was wrong and his pride got hurt so he tried to intimidate her and then left.

So your wife lied to you. All this and she just got a warning. No, the trooper didn't "realize" crap....he just pulled her over and gave her a warning. You my friend are a complete flake.
