Just tell owners of those to do what they do in California, and leave the doors open and windows down so the thieves can help themselves to what they want.

Yeah. And that's what I don't get.

You can't get insurance for these, the resale value tanked. That's going to be the last time you ever buy a Hyundai/Kia product.

They need to recall these vehicles and make them insurable.

glad my kona doesnt have this issue. it's a 2021 and has keyless entry.

This issue is only in Keyed vehicles.

For real. I tried to tell that to my customer today when I was writing her a check for a hotel to stay in while her house cooled down. It has been on fire earlier but too bad she was scammed. Now, my company is going to pay her over $500k to rebuild her house. Such a scam.

Their used inventory from those years affected, and any future vehicles that may come from individuals trading up to a newer model year.
