More Lexus-y

Avalon would be the more tempting Toyota saloon, which is a hard concept to write.

New car/truck prices are becoming a bubble

It's because financial idiots are perfectly willing to lease them or finance them at stupid terms because they only care about the cost of the monthly payment and not the total cost of the money borrowed.

Yeah, they usually put the old Lexus tech in the new Camry's. It will be a nice car. The XSE will be boss.

No. That model will sticker somewhere around $35k and be able to bought new around $30k. Took a hard look at the Camry XSE v6 for my wife a year ago. Optioned out pretty much like this new one, and sticker was $32k. Could get it in TX for under $27k.

It doesn't help that the average cost of a vehicle is $30k and that the used market is so overinflated.

That's such one sided. Reliability and quality are so much improved, and that has a cost. Company's have to recoup that R&D. They offer base models if price is your main driver.

Fify.

Never understood the obsession with buying a car new.

Most minivans and 3 row SUV's START at $30k. So it means a lot of families have to shop the used market which often doesn't get a big drop in price until the vehicle is 4-5 years old.

Why the hell are they trying to make it look like a Lexus? They're diluting their own lineup by incorporating more of their God-awful design into the Toyotas.

2018 Toyota Camry Gets Aggressive Overhaul

Who goes car shopping for a Camry because they're looking for an aggressive road beast?
