I have a hard time believing 100s of cop cars carrying m-16s showed up to apprehend a shoplifter.
Considering they use swat teams to bust into houses of guys with only enough drugs to get charged with simple possession, I can believe it.

I'm saying I think the news wildly exaggerating.
I mean, when's the last time you've actually seen 100 cop cars in one place?

They showed up afterwards to contain the riot that they thought might happen.

If you look at the pics/vids in that reporter's Twitter link there's a damn pisspot full of squads there...might not be 100 but it's a lot...

The fact that there's a La'Toya there calling it an execution makes me think that there's another side to this story...
Why not just say black people being involved makes you think, "there's another side to this story". No use in beating around the bush is there?

I doubt there were 100, but there were a lot of cop cars there.

So the eyewitnesses are turning out to not have told the full story.
Apparently the kid was being loaded in the back of a squad car when he broke free and was running with his hands up in the air.
Far from standing there in a "hands up surrender" position.
Apparently there is video.
Remains to be seen if he was running at officers or what other actions may have justified taking him down.
Errbody needs to let the whole truth come out. If it's unjustified, the cop/cops should get tried.
Oh, and 'suspended' or 're-assigned' to desk is standard operating procedure for any officer involved in a shooting. Don't read anything into that.

You made a terrible typo, edited, and left the typo.
Then you replied two times to me without me replying.

Kinda hard for ordinary citizens to get the dedicated bangers to stop killing each other...the issue is that the people EXPECTED to do something about crime (the police) often end up exacerbating the issues prevalent in the area with unjustified use of excessive force. You'd EXPECT that the police wouldn't go off half-cocked and start shooting like some damn bangers...

Did you actually read the posts in this thread?
Yeah, the ones siding with the police are trolling and there are a few that are clearly nobody.

Didn't you read what his momma said...he wasn't a killer, didn't steal basically a good boy. The cops had no reason to arrest him he was innocent.
