Old Jefferson area here....lots of loud thunder, lightning, and torrential rain. I'm headed for the basement.

Damn....I don't have a basement. Entergy says power out til 6pm. Over 3000 customers affected.

It's a squall line. Shouldn't last too long.

If Accuweather radar is anywhere near accurate, that's about to change.....

Same here.

Wife said it got really bad around then, couldn't even see neighbors house behind us. It's just starting to come down at my office off Sherwood.

Power flickered off here and then came back on luckily. Around Old Jefferson too.

Lake breeze blew in and popped this storm up. Happy to see it. Have work in the attic to do.

Storming in Prairieville. Multiple traffic lights out

Down power line Old Perkins at Bluff. They have Old Perkins blocked off at the intersection right now.

Best decision I've made in a while was to not go play golf at Santa Maria this afternoon. Was going to go about 1.5 hours ago and decided not to. None of this was even on the radar then...but it escalated very quickly.

Yeah...on radar it's moving right to left, but blowing up and getting bigger as it moves.

All I know if around 4:00 it was SCARY. Hailing, super strong winds, lots of lightning. Now it's starting up again.
