Only LE can use ANY blue lights on vehicles operated on Louisiana highways. Us commoners can use every other color but certain colors can only be in the front, side or rear.

Think the phrase "You don't know who you're messing with..." might have popped into ol' Larry's head there?

Good to see JPSO doing their job.

His booking picture looks pretty cheerful for a guy that was prevented from tagging his secretary and then arrested on a weekend night.

My friends dad was the parish coroner and had a blue light for his 1978 ford LTD. This was a perfect set up for us to troll our friends with.

It was a different world back then and I am glad we never got caught by the real cops

Have a friend who's dad was our mayor. We did that with a red light he had on the dash of his car. There were advantages that came with being the son of the mayor of a small town. I have to admit, we did some crazy stuff, that would have landed us in jail if we'd ever been caught. In the back of my mind, I had faith that I wouldn't get in much trouble if I got caught breaking the law with him.

Once when my friend was grounded from driving his car, a state trooper stopped us and just to tell us his daddy said to come home. Growing up with all of that privilege warped my friend's judgement. He reasoned that me driving his car made it OK for him to go to a neighboring town even though he was supposed to be grounded from using the car. He knew his parents wouldn't buy that, but said he'd act like he thought it was OK. His dad getting a state trooper to stop us scared the hell out of me, but his parents weren't angry with me, just with him.

think the judicial system needs time to sort this out, the Baw probably just prescribed a new medication and has an untoward drug reaction.

Could it be that he is a diabetic and was suffering from a low blood sugar episode. Just wondering.

City council has them down here. I think one got in trouble a while back in NOLA for using them to speed in traffic.

One thing I didn't see mentioned that I heard from someone. The vehicle smelled like a bottle of cologne was dumped in it, and so did the driver. He was sucking on breath mints and his eyes were bloodshot.

This guy here. You bake and drive in St Charles parish to escape JPSO/Kenner. He did the opposite.
