The hotel next to Illusions. I've stayed there a couple of times. One time in particular they had a used condom in the sheets.

Close second is the Venice Inn pre-Katrina.

Best Western or some shitty chain like that down in Clute, TX.
Only stayed two nights but had enough of the damn trashy contractor types who took over the hotel.

Company per diem and a lack of available options is why I ended up there.

Hilton St Charles in New Orleans.

First room smelled like a bar with smoke. Got a new room. My key opened every room in the hotel. Accidentally walked into someone else's room. Got new key. Still opened all the doors. I didn't know if everyone's key opened all the doors on that floor. Got 3rd room. It was connected to a room with a bunch of bros partying and smoking weed all night long.

From my youth and college years, I have the distinction of having stayed at 2 of Tripadvisor's top 3 worst hotels in America.

1. Grand Resort Hotel & Convention Center - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

3. Desert Inn Resort - Daytona Beach, Florida

I forget the name of it but it was in Baton Rouge. Our high school baseball team stayed and I remember we had 8 in our room with no shower curtain. The whole bathroom was flooded

mt1 and I stayed at a hotel in Canada outside of Montreal I think that had one bed with a mirror on the ceiling....

I've got quite a few horror stories wondering through the orient, but the worst by far would be the night I slept on a concrete mattress with no pillow and with 3 other guys. It was either do that or sleep outside in the rain.

I have stayed there. Hard to believe Disney has the nerve to call it a resort.
Worst was in Zapata Texas, opened the door and a cat ran out. At some point in time when we were putting out luggage in the room the cat snuck back in and crawled under the bed. Just after the lights went out it decided it was time to walk around and scared the shite out of us. Caught a lot of fish though.

The Breakers hotel at Cedar Point amusement park is pretty rough at $200+ a night. I bet the All Star sports blows it away.

was playing in a ball tournament in jackson missisisppi. Stuck key card in opend door, and there was no interior wall, looked i was looking right outside into the parking lot like a damn bomb went off. Bed was covered in plastic and busted blockes all over the ground. I was like "wtf"! went back down and told the woman, she said oooops, forgot someone drove through that room last weekend hahaha

Canal Street Hotel in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

Idiot who booked it was so proud of herself for getting us something right "in the middle of the quarter." Its at Canal and the I-10/US90 overpass.

Got there, place was a dump. Fine. Get in the shower and there are pubes everywhere.

Get a room change. The interstate was maybe 5 feet from our window and looked like someone threw a rock through it or shot at it. Instead of fixing the glass window pane, they just staple gunned plexiglass over the window frame.

Hampton Inn in BR in the 1990's. Housekeeping walked in on me mid nut thrust.

Worst actual stay was Oasis Cancun 2003 or so. Total shithole. shite food. shite liquor (ever see Mexican whisky?). And I got montezuma.
