Hello, I went to Louisiana Tech University and got my Bachelors of Science in Physics. I decided on a career change my senior year, so I went to Graduate School for Engineering at Southern University.

It will be my second year at Grad School, and I have enjoyed it. However I am looking for job opportunities. Does anyone know of any Job/Intern opportunities for Engineering Students around Baton Rouge area.

This is not going to go well for you here. Take this to the o-t board.

Good luck to you

Congrats, a degree from Southern is only good for wiping your arse, and that has nothing to do with race.

I'd think your best bet for a job after graduation is an internship in partnership with the school.

I don't have any recommendations, but pay no attention to some of the ridiculous responses that will follow. My sister has a little ole BS in chemistry from Southern and she's a pretty successful chemist for Exxon.

No just some employers recruit heavily on the campuses of HBCUS and actually pull some of their best employees from those schools.

I was planning on speaking with a Job Placement center to get some more ideas. To the Poster with LinkedIn , yes I am still utilizing that website however I am currently taking a break from it.

Yes, I'm sure it's because they are exemplary employees and not because these companies desperately have to diversify their workplace based on corporate policies.

This completely rational thread is doing a great job of showing who the racists are.
