fricking disney. if they just charged $15 to get in the park and $1 for water, imagine how much better the park would be!

Damn son, you mad. It's the happiest place on earth. I'm sorry if you're a poor miserable soul who can't enjoy all the rides and fun times to be had.

Wow, you must be a ton of fun to be around. How about you not worry about how other people like to spend their money.

I'm with you.

Mind you, I don't have kids and I haven't been since I was in high school, but I have no desire to go. At least not until I have a kid old enough to enjoy it. If it's just me and my wife there are hundreds if not thousands of places I'd rather go.

not only that, but disney has shown that they literally give zero fricks about the quality of their parks. epcot is a complete joke that hasn't been given a proper facelif
i get complaining about the money, but this just isn't true since the exec changeover 6 years ago.

New fantasy land in MK
Avatar Land and nighttime show at AK
Toy Story land and Star Wars land at HS
Downtown Disney to Disney Springs
Epcot will be next

I don't like how long all this work takes, but it's happening.

For anything but small children, Universal blows away Disney. Fact.

If you are an adult, why are you buying crap in the gift shops?

And why do you care about only getting to ride a ride once with a fast pass? Are you riding the Star Wars ride 50 times?

Just go to Disney when all the children are still in school. Enjoyable.

No one is forcing you to spend your money there. If you don't like it, don't go. It's a very simple concept. Millions of other people love it. My kids and wife loves it and as long they like going I don't mind spending the money on something they get a lot of enjoyment out of it. You can't spend the money when your dead so why not do things for you and your family that creates lasting memories. Stop being a stick in the mud and live!!!

There's ways around the high cost of certain items. Disney allows you to bring pack lunches into to the parks. We do that some days and other days we spend money in the parks to enjoy some of the Disney treats. If your kids wants some Disney souvenirs, take them to the Walmart that's 10 minutes away from the park and have them pick out what they want. They have similar items in Walmart.

Not a big Disney fan either, but what I really can't understand are the adults who make annual trips to this place. I'm talking grown MEN who get all worked up for a month before their "Disney Trip" every damn year!

Explain.
Universal has far more rides that adults can enjoy, the characters are far more relevant to kids, and if you're not poor you have an express pass for virtually every ride all day long.

It takes work to plan a vacation where your kids could be exposed to actual real culture, natural/manmade wonders, and still have fun. Therefore the lazy choose to go consume manufactured fun/culture at Disney.

I went a few months ago for the first time since I was a child and had a blast. I got wasted in Epcot. Experienced shitload of positive nostalgia from my childhood, was able to relax since i was away from work.

9/10 experience.

And yea, sure, my ideal vacation would be one that involves roadtripping around, visiting national parks, hiking, being out west with nature. But DIsney was still pretty fricking awesome

oh for fricks sake.

i took my kids out west one year & we went 4 wheeling in moab and chased buffalo in yellowstone and one year i took them to disney and one year we went to miami & took an airboat out into the everglades.

frick off, its just a vacation destination so quit trying to make it sound like you're better than people who go there.

Hey demosa, you do know they have a gay week at Disney World?
That might be the better time for you and your faggie's to visit. There won't be any livestock for you to frick, but you can do your gay cheers and yelling and probably won't be teased about it.
