Boy for this being a school that supposedly requires you to be at least slightly above average smart, there is a whole lot of stupid going on up there.

You cannot reason with the unreasonable.
All you can do is treat them like toddlers (who are also unreasonable): ignore the stupidity until it goes away.

Until more people have the stones to tell these belly-achers to "go frick themselves", this ridiculousness is going to continue. What's the worst that would happen? They would start silly little groups on Facebook? Send emails to the school president? Boycott parties no one invited them to or wants them at? Give it a few months and they will have moved on to some other indignation
This is perfect timing, because the best example of an organization telling a bunch jealous cry-babies to get fricked is on TV as we speak. The Masters!! They stuck protesters in the back of a parking lot and told CBS and it's sponsors "don't worry about the negative publicity, we'll just air the tournament on our own dime."

No, you treat them like college students who are capable of reason and try to convince them to use that reason. Don't antagonize them, teach them. Almost like a learning institution or something.

Students at Dartmouth College launched a petition drive demanding the newly-elected student body president resign after they say he was disrespectful to the plight of American blacks and other marginalized groups.
The twist: The president is a gay black man.

I feel like we are just splitting mares at this point.

“We realized that if anyone on campus felt uncomfortable or upset with the theme, then we obviously shouldn’t have it,” said KDE social chair.
The absurdity of this statement could never be overstated. What are we doing to ourselves?
If I decide that I am offended by Dartmouth athletic events does that mean the school should fricking cancel them?

My god. I was at least expecting a poster or something with a black person pulling a horse. So just the theme is racist? I wish they would not have caved.

These people don't have the ability to reason, that's the problem.

Well, the mane issue seems to be that these students have too much time on their hands.

Correct me if I'm wrong, But didn't the Masters cave-in and finally allow women to play a year or so ago?

You should start fricking with them and emailing them complaining about random things. Such as certain classes that offend you, women's basketball offend you, the lack of mail restrooms on the third floor of the science building offends you, The music their band plays offend you, and the way they write out their diplomas is so offensive you don't even know if you can take it anymore.

Not so subtle reminder, these idiots get to vote and produce offspring.

I guess baseball is racist too since it was invented before the civil war and primarily played by white folks.

They should have changed it to an Epsom Derby (English horse race) party and told those people to frick off. Party on, Wayne.
