This is what happens when there's a natural, less addictive remedy to pain medicine. Big pharma and the gov can't make their money so they'll shut the shite down. Sad but true.

I took these to help with back pain so I wouldn't have to keep taking opiates and it does help, without the addictive properties.

Woah there now. What if I enjoy Sucking a big hog and I'm purposely giving the dealer the impression that I am broke and desperate for drugs.

Maybe, I just don't want to spend my money on drugs. And I get a free snack of jiz.

You gotta sell it hard, if a dealer thinks you're into it, he probably won't get off. That's what I've read at least.

I think it was the Washington Post that did a good article on the DEA's justification for it and it was fricking laughable.

I always wonder if these shills really believe this shite. Like do people really think the DEA is doing this for their safety and not because some shitbag pharma lobbyist is greasing their palms?

during the alabama debate i heard many people buy into the FDA line of hallucinations , respiratory depression, and impairment hook line and sinker, including local media.

God that's depressing. Kinda makes me wonder how many things I've fallen for over the years, in a very real way we're all susceptible for falling for shite that politicians (or any propagandists) say if it lines up with our preconceived bullshite outlooks.

But that's off point, anybody have any insight into how this goes down tomorrow?

It's a little weird that something goes from perfectly legal to schedule one over night. Is there any precedence for something like this?

Yes, GHB. During the 1990's I had friends who bought it over the counter at GNC for weight lifting purposes and to take before going out on the weekends. They preferred it to alcohol. Now Schedule 1.

Exactly. They're not making any money and the big pharna companies aren't either so in their eyes, that means it's time to shut down shop.

It's sad because kratom doesn't become physically addictive like roxy's or tabs. It's sad that our government thinks they know what's better for our bodies than we do.

Meanwhile, someone else just OD'd again off the shite they prescribe.

I forgot about G, only knew a few people who fricked around with it. You know anything about what happened to folks who bought it legally and then still possessed it after it went illegal? I can't say that I remember even hearing stories about it, just that it was illegal all of a sudden.

The government could easily make money off of it with sin taxes. It's the pharma folks who want it scheduled.

Damn, I never knew GHB was OTC. I knew it had other uses other than what it's most commonly known for but had no clue about that. That's crazy.

Thanks for tonight's history lesson too lol.

That's sad that they have this much pull in our country.

Does anyone really think they give a frick about anyone but themselves? I mean, these motherfrickers prescribe 4 year olds adderal. That should tell you all you need to know.

the DEA has put off the ban for now they say it could be next week, or next month but they plan for it to still happen whats delaying them has been a huge blowback, 150.000 signature petition, 51 congressmen twisting their arms, orrin hatch spearheading a petition of senators... but when it comes down to it Loretta Lynch and Obama call this shot. It kills some of the SJW kratom users that a lot of republicans helping is their best shot.

Not much. They just ran out of it. They did no other illicit substances, not even weed. They would swear up and down how much better GHB was than alcohol both on the liver and the psychogenic effect. I didn't try it because I didn't trust the manufacturers or the biochem.

Is it Pharma? This stuff has been controlled in Denmark, Poland and Sweden since 2011. Thailand since 1943 and Australia/New Zealand since last year.

big pharma has applied for patents for mitragynine an 7-hydroxymitragynine...synthetic kratom

btw thailand banned kratom because it interfered with its opium trade in 43..look it up not hard to find, those other countries mentioned regulate pretty much everything.

That shite is weak anyway. Who cares. That shite isn't touching anything for someone with a real habit.

Yeah the new Zealand thing came from an umbrella type act banning a plethora of drugs. It wasn't because they did research on kratom, they just banned everything that wasn't Foster's.
