I tried this stuff in college years ago. Friend of mine got it from Vietnam, had it shipped back with seafood he ordered. His family owned a seafood business. Nasty stuff for sure.

This is pretty much my stance, but I think that even with this attitude this one might be something that needs to be sat out. The parasites and bacteria that can be in uncooked reptiles can be really fricking dangerous. Maybe the alcohol would kill it, but maybe it wouldn't. I'd have to consult an expert before making the plunge.

Saw this in a bar in Okinawa. Group of us started putting money together for someone to try it. One guy did a shot for $200. He was passed out in the bathroom 15 minutes later.
