Stop trying to make Belle Chasse happen. It's not going to happen.

If one goes by the flagship school, CHS is FANTASTIC. They got damaged, but rebuilt athletic facilities are quite nice. The library and performing arts center across the street are astoundingly excellent. That theater is amazing.

I could think of worse places to move, that's for certain.

I was looking at houses in Meraux. Are you saying this is a bad idea?

If you can buy in Lexington, Jumonville, Jumonville North, Emily Oaks, or Landry Court, do it. For the house you buy, the value is very good, those areas are very safe, there is starting to be more commercial in the area, and you are zoned to an amazing elementary school, a really good middle school, and Chalmette HS. Your kid can be very successful at CHS or he can be a degenerate crackhead... but odds are the kids in those neighborhoods will be successful.

Until your house ends up with 15ft of water in it again. Chalmette is unprotectable.

Not sure if posted, but Torres isn't running. He had no chance to win anyhow.

A guy from Chalmette tried to qualify and was apparently unaware that he wasn't a New Orleans resident lol
