% of employees 65 and over?
Are you, do you know people in this age range that work?

Obviously they don't have to, but should they retire?
That one old bird's salary probably pays for two younger people.

I think that should be up to that person. Some people love their job.

If they have to have money to continue to live, yes?

What kind of question is this?

The air they breathe could support multiple young people. Maybe we should just kill them.

My dad is 62 and his health has recently gone downhill. He didn't feel like relocating with his old job so he quit. Now i just find out he was offered a new job today despite being barely able to drive himself around. Him and the other 65 yr olds need to retire, go sit on the beach, and let their children run this country.

John McCain is 80 years old and dying of brain cancer and he still works. Half of Congress would lose their jobs if we kicked out everyone over 65.

Depends on the person.

Life expectancy rates are going up. I wouldn't be surprised to see 75 be the new 65 before I kick the bucket.

I find most people over 45 in a corporate setting that haven't or have no desire to progress into management, they are worthless at that point. They basically have inflated salaries and offer less than someone around 30 with a little experience and motivation does.

Yes. I don't need more people sucking off my taxes. Let the old fricks continue to work.

What do you propose they do instead?

Those large salaries were earned. If they quit then their replacement will be hired entry level.

Yes they should work. These people need to contribute to society like the rest of us and not sit on their asses all day in an old folks home.

You children are cute when you think this world owes you anything and even cuter when you think someone should move over so you can have what you want. I'm going to work until the day I die just to frick over as many of you as possible.

If you can outperform me, you can have my job. Good luck overcoming the massive amount of experience I've spent a lifetime accumulating that warrants my salary. It must burn your arse when an employer agrees that someone older than you is worth more than four of you.
