BATON ROUGE - Police say a gunman opened fire early Sunday morning in Tigerland after the LSU football game against ULM.

Officials say two or three shots were heard and two people were taken to the hospital. Preliminary reports say one was shot in the leg and the other in the abdomen.

It happened on the 4400 block of Alvin Dark, which is right behind the popular college bar Reggie's.

Police say none of the victims suffered life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

It happened at the hookah bar next to akasha. It's open after 2, and attracts a unique clientele

This is why section 8 housing should never be allowed near college campuses or college apartments.

"Witnesses tell News 2 that there were football players in the area at the time, but police say they weren't involved with the shooting or injured."

Why is anyone surprised by this? Section 8 and the great urban culture it keeps housed is a great thing for all communities.
