Smooth 2 pass shave with only one nick. Using a Gillette Old from 1918.

Don't get me wrong that razor is mean, neck is raw, but only one bleeder. I do not like this razor but break it out occasionally. This is the least amount of blood loss yet.

Only shave nerds will appreciate the thread.

For the rest inb4 Dear Diary.

Ib4 did you shave balls? Negative.

I've been shaving with either a safety razor or a straight razor for 4 years and I can count on my hand the number of times I cut myself.

Are you a pussy?

Yeah, shaving with broken glass sucks but it's great.

Yeah - I have fairly sensitive skin, yet a tough beard and after 6 months or so, I rarely get weepers or even nicks anymore. I need 3 passes and get a little abrasion if I push it to try to get too close.

Of course, I don't complain about. I dab some witch hazel or use the stiptic pencil. I guess I'm not a pussy.

Shaving is the opposite of manly.

It's actually kinda gay.

Real men have beards

Maybe my stubble is 1mm in diameter. Perhaps you're a puss with a 14 year old chin grizzle.

Maybe I don't use a blade? I just let the teeth of the open comb chew it off?

Maybe you're a lumberjack?

Tried. Right side of my face looks like Kenny Rogers. Left side of my face looks 38. I am 43.

Men use alcohol aftershaves, baw. Your wife use your witch hazel when you're not looking to take off her makeup, Sally?

I used Fine American Classic aftershave. It's invigorating.

To avoid razor burn with a DE, don't take long strokes like you would with a multi blade. Think of it like a barber uses a straight razor... Little short "ticks". I use feather blades, get a good close shave with no nicks or razor burn, and have very sensitive skin and coarse hair.

Razor burn comes from friction that builds up with long strokes.

If you're looking for a great, slick soap that makes a good lather and smells great, get some Czecke and Speake Oxford and Cambridge. It's expensive, but a puck lasts for the better part of a year. I like Mr. Fine Platinum After Shave from Amazon. It's cheap, only has four ingredients, and it feels and smells great on your skin.

I dry shave twice a day with my Bowie knife and slap on some Bourbon as aftershave.
