He's not actively pushing for anything, unfortunately. Happy to sit in his ridiculous house and travel the world. In his own words, "Those chinks and Hindus with their uncontrollable cigarette habit have made me more money than anything I've ever done myself".

Racial slurs aside, he's right.

Until you have decriminalization, you aren't making progress. These southern red states are getting embarrassed in the media because they deny babies life saving medicine. These bills are much too limiting to be of any benefit except to a narrow few.

I agree.

I disagree. Yes, we have bigger goals, but progress is progress IMO and I'm not going to be disappointed with any of it.

I think we will see change on a federal level before the Bible Belt does anything for themselves. Too many state representatives from bumfrick who are afraid of losing their seat if they show the tiniest bit of forethought.
Baptists and the Church of Christ have impeded so much possible forward-thinking growth in the Deep South it isn't even funny.

What? What did I miss?
BTW, you'd think Democrats (like myself) and conservatives could come together over something like marijuana legalization.

I'll let you enjoy the moment,
But you'll be dead at this pace.

Little girl with dozens of seizures a day that couldn't get oil extracted from marijuana that almost completely stopped them. Her family had to move to Colorado. It made national headlines.
Charlottes Web
Alabama's Carly's Law
Moving for Marijuana
The oil doesn't even get you high. It can't be abused.

Neither of these motherfrickers can get together on anything these days and its ruining our country. And they are equally as guilty and try to act equally as innocent.

Caharlette's Web started the thing...
quote:
Charlotte's Web is named after Charlotte Figi, born October 18, 2006 (age 8), whose story has led to her being described as "the girl who is changing medical marijuana laws across America."[4] Her parents and physicians say she experienced a reduction of her epileptic seizures brought on by Dravet syndrome after her first dose of medical marijuana at five years of age. Her usage of Charlotte's Web was first featured in the 2013 CNN documentary "Weed". Media coverage increased demand for Charlotte's Web and similar products high in CBD, which has been used to treat epilepsy in toddlers and children. While high profile and anecdotal reports have sparked interest in treatment with cannabinoids,[5] there is insufficient medical evidence to draw conclusions about their safety or efficacy.[5][6]

You don't like paying protection money? Enjoy having your assets seized and a comfortable room in the closest 'rehabilitation' center!

It's progress. It's needlessly slow but it's still progress. You have to understand just how absurdly shitheaded the politics in Louisiana are to realize how much progress this is.

This. I thought the bill would be shutdown with quickness.

It's not too ambitious and even still the lawmaker had to negotiate with the sheriffs about it. But it's still something.

That's definitely a nice way of putting the meaning of property tax...

Burning desire for personal liberty is my ailment. And a bad case of wanting people to wake up and stop demonizing a plant that isn't addictive and certainly isn't a schedule 1 narcotic. Categorize it the same as alcohol. 21 to buy and ingest, can't do it while you drive, etc. Tax it and use the revenue for the school system or to relieve other taxes to create more spending money for the average citizen.
This is the truth

My question is how do you test for it? They can do a breathalyzer for alcohol, but what do they do for on the spot testing for weed? Does that technology exist?
Posted on 4/29/15 at 7:37 pm to BLM
I don't know how they test for it. I have has several major physical ailments and I can say it's about frickin damn time.
