I mapped out our walk around campus for Ole Miss2014 on the following Monday morning b/c I knew it was absurdly stupid of us.
We zigged and zagged from GameDay to tailgates across campus. Came up to 7 miles.
That's a LOT of steps for fun drunk tailgating.
No way someone walked 24 miles unless it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY aka not at a theme park having fun.

While I'm waiting on the OP to respond since the Uber driver is potentially found,
does Uber not make you do something if you want to change your destination? Say you want to go to X place 2 miles away and while in the car you get a call from a friend and want to go to Y place 57 miles away? Does Uber not make the rider do something? Seems odd to me that if you requested a ride to X location they would allow the driver to charge you for Y location without the driver allowing it through the App?

That's definitely not the same guy IMO.
I agree, I always look at my phone because it sends the screen with your final charge, and you can rate the driver and leave feedback.
If I got out of the car and noticed that screen didn't pop up, I would know something weird had happened and would've been trying to contact the driver/uber immediately.
Hopefully you find this guy so he gets what's coming to him. Shitty humans like him ruin the whole concept of Uber for everyone.

Also OP - why not include the map from your receipt? it should show that he passed by where y'all were actually dropped off corroborating your story.

This dude is older, works for the university and was travelling to Philly for a conference on Sunday. I doubt he was out trying to steal from LSU fans later Saturday night

For arguments sake, what does traveling on Sunday have to do with driving Uber for an hour Saturday? Both extremely doable.
They are pretty close in age, guy may of been driving Uber for awhile and used an older pic. I don't know. For the C Spencer's sake I hope its not him.

I had to check my step tracker to come prove all of you wrong. But it turns out you are right. 12.3 miles. Not sure why I doubled that up but a lot of stuff has happened since February and I guess it felt longer. Still wanted to die.

I don't think that's him. OT doing work though. I think he actually may have said he was from Little Rock. I made my police report today.
Uber is down to $22 on the total fare but it's not about the money anymore. Hell I've put $1000 worth of my own time into it the last two days. The fact that they told me twice they couldn't do anything until they got social media blasted and have now lowered it three times just shows what liars they are

Would love to see the correspondence between you and uber as well as between he and uber.
Playing devil's advocate, I feel like I know what happened...it was probably so busy after the game with a lot cell clutter in one place, the request to end the ride probably didn't go through. Remember this whole service is based around cell reception.
