Yep. Or, even more likely, if the OP had posted that he'd been jumped by thugs while walking back to his campground after the game, he would have been blasted as being an OT poor bc he chose to walk instead of paying uber to take him to his destination.

what happened sucked, but you're an idiot for staying in the car after that comment and the ones before it. You had to see this coming. I think you should drive up their next Saturday and ask for him and when he shows up slash his tires and break his windows and run. he looked like a fat arse so he won't catch you. Just don't asked to be picked up near people.
Cause he wouldn't of driven 60 miles out of the way if he dropped them off on the street.

If you can't walk a mile and a half, don't ever go to Disney.
Posted on 11/14/16 at 10:16 am to RealityTiger
This is correct. My step tracker had me at 24 miles and some change on one of our busier days earlier this year in Disney. I wanted to die that night. Power walking too pushing a stroller with two kids in it trying to make fast pass times.

Just got back. I think we estimated that we walked 8 miles on the shortest day (only 6 hours). We were pushing a double stroller as well.

Dude, just log onto your bank account and dispute the charge. Your bank will force Uber to prove that the charge is legitimate. They will likely concede because it won't be worth their time.

Dispute the charge to your credit card in writing!
quote:
To take advantage of the law's consumer protections, you must: write to the creditor at the address given for "billing inquiries," not the address for sending your payments, and include your name, address, account number, and a description of the billing error. Send your letter so that it reaches the creditor within 60 days after the first bill with the error was mailed to you. It’s a good idea to send your letter by certified mail; ask for a return receipt so you have proof of what the creditor received. Include copies (not originals) of sales slips or other documents that support your position. Keep a copy of your dispute letter. The creditor must acknowledge your complaint, in writing, within 30 days after receiving it, unless the problem has been resolved. The creditor must resolve the dispute within two billing cycles (but not more than 90 days) after getting your letter.

Lol, come on man. Disney requires a lot of walking but unless you were using GPS that is no way near right. My FIL just went and told me he walked 12 miles and that was BS knowing him it was more like 4-5.
Step trackers average your step, so anytime you step even if its 4 inches to readjust they count that as your average step. All that waiting in lines is counted as steps when you really are moving inches.

I wish I knew this Spencer fellow so I could punch him for you.
Also, I've never had poor customer service from Uber. They are like Amazon and have always bent over backwards anytime I've had an overcharge issue and refunded me timely.

in Fayetteville? right.
If you get jumped by thugs in Fayetteville, they're most likely coming over to offer you a hit off their j.

walking at a brisk pace takes about 7 hours to walk a marathon, so no, no chance in hell anyone walked 24 miles at Disney World in one day.
