I was told I was so negative when I read the first article/release form LSU LINK

Took less than a month to become what I said it would become, a mess. This reminds me of the EBR Parish Library plan to allow laptops to be issued out like books.

Baton Rouge loves to embrace foolishness.

BR loves signing contracts because someone gets a kickback for doing something extremely stupid they won’t have to foot the bill for.

What a dumb article. I like the part about them going too fast.

Of all the things NOLA has fricked up on, banning (pretty much) these things is one thing thet have done right.

Talked to someone who went downtown looking to rent one of those bikes and said all of them were dead. Tried for over an hour to find one that worked and couldn't find one

Austin and Nashville are insane with the amount they have on every corner. Scoot life is fun though.

They fish several dozen out of the Ohio River every month up here. No telling how many are never recovered.

“In the last week I’ve experienced 3 scooters cross at intersections without right of way without even checking up. Drivers be ware.”

I see bicycles do this all the time too. Probably should go ahead and ban those.

They were everywhere in College Station but definitely not a nuisance, possibly different demographics from BR though.

I was in Louisville this past weekend and those things were everywhere. Mostly discarded just blocking sidewalks.
