I know MEs that are at the bottom of that range you gave. Really.

I'm not entirely sure I buy this. That's is absurdly low. The state pays EI1's more than $40k, and the state is pretty much the lowest salary you can make starting out. I agree with you that most college grads aren't making $50k straight out of school, but let's not get carried away. Maybe you know one frick up with a bottom of the barrel GPA that also had no worked experience during school, but that is pretty much the biggest and rarest outlier possible.

ETA: 2:40 in the morning and some jerkoff has downvoted this already within a minute of posting it? I'd love to hear where you think I'm wrong.

Haha, you're a joke. You believe glassdoor reviews, enough said. You're a jealous POS hater.

Sitting 15' from one right now. Heard the whole, "I deserve a raise" speach after 6 months of employment. It was embarrassing to say the least.

My dad renovated a really old house recently and his plumber (who is also his friend) was also a general contractor who specialized in bathroom and kitchen renovations.

Guy clears like 200k at least a year. He drives a fuggin sweet, brand new King Ranch and has 2 employees I think. He does really high end bathrooms/kitchens.

Apparently he comes from a pretty wealthy family and just built his business renovating bathrooms and kitchens in CCL and Bocage for his friends.

ETA:

I am really jealous of him. He seems to fricking love his job, is his own boss, and makes very good money.

'd be genuinely curious as to what professions in the last 10 years have gone from "having experience" to "having a degree" as a pre-requisite.

All of them

Ideally they want both

People with ACT's in the teens shouldn't be wasting their time for the most part.

My highest ACT score was an 18 and I currently hold 3 college degrees.
