Oh I saw that shitshow. Pretty sure that was just water though.

It’s fricking pouring at my house in mid city. Luckily my Street doesn’t flood, but I have a feeling if it doesn’t stop soon, getting downtown will be a challenge

ETA: Surprisingly got downtown pretty easily. Tulane from S. Rocheblave into downtown wasn’t flooded at all. Looking out my window, Poydras and what I can see of downtown looks fine.

Just because they are working when it is dry does not mean they will work when it is raining.

I literally just drove under there

Why are you lying?

I just drove from warehouse District to uptown to mid city and didn’t even hit a puddle.

Congrats. It literally stopped raining 50 minuted ago too

at 8:45 the carrolton on ramp was almost completely impassable

The first exit to the dome and arena(from the westbank expressway heading west) was completely flooded already, and the exit was backed up to the interstate due to this

Further, exiting the expressway and turning left onto Loyola (crossing under the interstate)was impassable to cars, trucks were ok

Also, Girod street was impassable to some cars as well

The corner of Poydras and Lasalle was also completely under water

Those were all the bad areas I saw

Its amazing how you think you know everything and show your arse

So between the last 2 posts an hour apart it was flooded and then dry. Sounds like the pumps might be working

Yeah he’s full of shite. The pumps are working fine.

I can’t find one tweet or pic showing flooded streets and I just drove around the city and the traffic is flowing smoothly. Not one flooded street

Are you a legit tard at times? I never claimed the pumps weren’t working

But it was absolutely flooded in the areas I named around 845-9

I am sure others that drove into Benson tower at that time can confirm

A little dramatic huh?

I’m glad you made it to Benson Tower without drowning.
