Is it because they took the cars out of the pipes?

Even if this was true (it isn’t), how is that worthy of praise? That’s literally the absolute minimum standard to which S&WB should be held to. All of the pumps working should be a “D” grade. That’s where you start from, not your goal.

So they pulled the car out of the main canal?

They'll get a good test tomorrow. Let's see how Voodoo Fest holds up.

City Park floods even when Latoya steps in a puddle.
Tomorrow will be a shitshow.

I'll give Cantrell the benefit of the doubt for now. She tossed out a lot of Mitch's old cronies infecting these institutions.
Plus this is an easily verifiable claim, just wait a couple of weeks for a big thunderstorm.

When the bar is set by Mitch, C-Ray, Morial, and Barthelemy, the bar's ain't gonna be very high.

Putting out a press release that you’re doing the absolute bare minimum is so Louisiana government

Those grounds are terrible. I wouldn't blame SWB for that shitty design.

The official standard is 1.5 inches of rain the first hour and 1 inch per hour after that.
