So according to libtard logic, government can regulate a clear Constitutional right out of business, but can't regulate a made-up Constitutional right to baby holocaust camps.

Got it.

Oh do explain your logic here? how is Chicago irrelevant?

On a side note thank you for insight into your tired logic.

I'll answer your question with a question: how did you feel when background checks became mandatory in the 90s? Remember the waiting period? That nearly gave my old man another heart attack. But it helped reduce crime. Our country does have a history *sometimes* writing laws that make sense. I'm not saying we need to prohibit all guns, but I think something could be changed. I'm just a guy spitballing who thinks guns/ammo are too cheap, which leads to dumb people easily taking human lives. How about no more $200 hi-point 9mms?

So lets put a company out of business for making affordable firearms? Do you think the gang bangers are paying retail for their glocks?

All you'll do is create a black market and a whole new category of criminals.

That's going backwards.

Stick to comedy, John Oliver. You obviously know nothing about politics. Not that he's really funny anyways.

Put a sign in your yard that says "gun free zone" and watch what happens.

I'll take my chances in a public place that has an active shooter with citizens who are carrying than I would in some "gun free zone."

this isn't a video game or a movie. You really think you'll be better off in the middle of a spontaneous shootout?

You do realize that the majority of murders committed in the US are with firearms illegally obtained - or are you ignoring the gangland bullshite because the media doesn't care about that? My firearms and ammo are quite fine in my care, the only people that would ever feel their wrath are people trying to enter my residence or do harm to me in public, and I'm smart enough to know when to carry and when not to.

Pretty sad when political pressure is shutting down perfectly legitimate businesses.

Sure is, I mean conservatives seem to have no problem applying that pressure when its a business and/or non-profit which provides healthcare to women but I'm sure gun store is just as vital.

The only two reasons a mass shooting occurs are:
1) it almost always occurs in a gun-free zone. Why is that? It is simply shooting fish out of a barrel.
2) Social media.

In today's society, school shootings will continue to occur until there are guns in schools to protect the children and faculty.

This latest shooting occured on a campus where multiple people were utilizing concealed carry, including a Vet, it didn't seem to help much.

Name a mass shooting NOT in a gun free zone?

This last one (there are interviews with people who were concealed carrying at the time of the shooting), the Giffords shooting (public place in Arizona), etc.

Safeway supermarkets does not prohibit firearms on its property, which is where the Giffords shooting happened.

If a criminal wants a gun they will find a way to get their hands on one.

Hell for $100 I can get a "drop" gun in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or any major metropolitan city.

You think those buying and selling these guns care about background checks, laws, no they are concerned with committing crimes.
