They don't get a pass with me. A drunk driver almost killed my mother 7 years ago and left her with a traumatic brain injury where I watched her grow from a two year old and learn how to bathe herself, brush her teeth, talk, determine who her children were, walk, etc all at the age of 52 years old.
The only two reasons a mass shooting occurs are:
1) it almost always occurs in a gun-free zone. Why is that? It is simply shooting fish out of a barrel.
2) Social media.
In today's society, school shootings will continue to occur until there are guns in schools to protect the children and faculty.

Sad thing is this POS thinks he's right. Has no ability to process logic and realize that guns have no power alone. It take someone fricked in the head to use that power on folks, same could be accomplished with a gas filled bottle with a rag or a vehicle or a bow or a baseball bat. It's the individual thats screwed up, not the weapon used.

I love how your types assume that in every crowd (if not for those pesky gun free zones!) there is some superb marksman that could calmly subdue/neutralize a lunatic with a gun that wants to kill everyone. Keep drinking the kool-aid.

Why not address the lack of a sufficient mental health system in our country?

If you don't think that there has been a record number of people applying for a CC permit recently you're an idiot. I would rather take my chances with a shitty marksman with a CC than just being an easy target for a nut job.
As always, let's ignore that the US cities with the most strict gun control laws also have the highest violent crime rates.

Id invite you to be beside me if the unfortunate situation ever presented itself. After you cleaned your panties, you would thank people like me that are prepared to protect myself, my family, and innocent peoplike when a lunatic loses his shite.

Put a sign in your yard that says "gun free zone" and watch what happens.
I'll take my chances in a public place that has an active shooter with citizens who are carrying than I would in some "gun free zone."
