This is how every ridiculous liberal idea gets started. One nut goes way out to the end if the limb with its assertion. THEN it cones back and says "oh, that's not what I meant; it's non binding.
At that point it's coreligionists pick up the theme, "raising awareness" followed by their equally out of touch allies in Hollywood picking up the theme in movies and TV plots, AND THEN news media giving all the stories and air time they need....And we wonder how they got there.

Roughly 12 years ago I was sent to a military conference in San Francisco. We were instructed not to wear our uniforms outside of the conference hotel because the locals were not friendly towards the military. I never understood why the army would plan a conference in a city where the military is not welcome.
