Nashville has non profits that relocate homeless to the Bay Area and other west coast locales. At some point i'm assuming there will be push back but for now its a phenomenal policy.

Let’s start a College Drive/Perkins Rowe non-profit.

Nobody is forcing you. You can use paper bags. You can bring old bags from home. You just can't take any new plastic bags.

You expect anything less from them?

As far as they are concerned, their policies are wonderful, it is just the damn businesses who won’t give them enough money to do it right.

Nope

The big businesses should apologize and then move their businesses out of the state.

I wonder what would happen to the homeless numbers then?

When you arrive at the SF airport unawares as I did, you are a captive audience to all of SF’s virtue- signaling nonsense. Not only do they not give you a plastic bag but you are likely to get a nanny- like lecture on Climate Change from the angry blue- haired fat lesbian at the counter. The State has rules - lots of rules that will save your soul-and lots of little angry sycophants to enforce these rules. It’s like heaven on earth- Prog Valhalla, all the existential issues are completely ignored while the virtue signaling minor bullshite is put on hyperdrive.

The same liberals have already started this crap in Austin on a smaller scale. Give it 10 years and Austin will be a toilet.

Probably not. Abbot has already threatened to override it on a state level.

That's the key difference between SF/California and Austin/Texas though who knows for how long.

Just helped move my son from there two weeks ago. It has become an even worse shithole than before. Blue tarp shelters built under many freeway overpasses. More garbage than before too.

The liberals in this thread trying to pretend that homeless poop on the streets is no big deal

No way is that less efficient. When I go grocery shopping I can usually fit all my groceries in one sturdy reusable bag.

Last time I was in Louisiana, I went to rouses and they gave me 5 bags to carry the 3 things I bought.

This should be grounds to beat the ever living shite out of the homeless guy.

One should be able to use violent force to respond to being spit on.

Can you imagine owning a home and paying SF property taxes only to have some homeless camp spring up across the street. The poster who said that they cater to the bums and vagrants rather than the tax paying productive citizens has it 100% correct.

I would say don't bring that crap to Texas but its already here. Downtown Houston has tons of homeless people...Like literally there's a street that's like "Homeless row".

DFW as well although its mostly in FW from what i've seen.

Austin's starting to get there

As someone who lives in The SF area, we’re ready to leave. SF is a really cool city but the cons have started to outweigh the pros.

How big of a bag do you use? And you realize your are supposed to separate items rt?

You buy chemicals and put them next to your food? Or do you put your raw meet next to your veggies?
