Samsung model RF26XAERS model. Display keeps beeping, powercool will come on and off, temp displayed on the panel jumps around. As far as I can tell refrigerator and freezer are working fine and maintaining temps.

Anyone know how to run an diagnostics on this model? Or what may possibly be wrong?

Appreciate any help!

Try unplugging it and plugging it back in?

I'vs got a Samsung, that same model I think. Mine has twin doors with thr freezer on the bottom.

If your temp display is blinking, that means its not maintaining the set temp. First thing you can try is removing everything from inside the fridge, then removing thr panel in the back of the fridge and seeing if you need to defrost it. I recently had to do this and it fixed my problem. Turns out one of the kids didn't close it all the way one night and that's all it took to make ice start building up. Over the course of a few days, enough built up to become a problem. If you open that back panel and see ice, get a blow dryer and clean it out. If there is no ice, call a professional because you've got bigger problems.

Disconnect the power cord for about a minute and then reconnect. Might just need a reset.

I have a 2200 dollar samsung (subtle brag) that stopped working all together a couple months ago even though it was less than 2 years old. I ended up buying a Kenmore Elite to replace it rather than wait a couple days for a repair man (another subtle brag) because I have a wife and 3 kids and no fridge for any length of time was not an option. Also, my experience with appliances is after paying for a repair man and parts, I could have spent a little more money and have a brand new appliance so I really didn't have a issue forking over another 2k (that right, another subtle brag). I was gonna have to spend big bucks regardless so the difference in cost was justified in my mind given the lack of downtime without a fridge.
Now if you are not dependent of the appliance and have time to repair on your own like I did, I would recommend you trying to do the repairs yourself. I researched the issue and was able to trace it back to the circuit boards. I purchased 2 new circuit boards for 100/ea and installed them myself (which is just plugging in wiring harnesses) and I now have a second working fridge in my garage (subtle brag). From what I read, the circuit boards are a common problem with these refrigerators and they are very easy to replace.
Having said all that, I'd venture to say that I have more experience with appliances than most because I have 4 houses (3 rentals) and own all the appliances (not so subtle brag). I have always bought Kenmore and going on 10 years, I have never had a single issue with any of those appliances. For some dumb reason I decided to go fancy in my personal house and bought a samsung fridge and washer/dryer and have issues with both. My washer and dryers started to show rust after the first year and don't wash worth a lick. I will never buy a samsung appliance again even if my life depended on it. Stick with tried and true appliances and don't fall for the electronic gimmicks because they are all POS and will break. Good luck

Honestly, All Samsung products I have owned that are not tvs have not been real good. From cameras to phones to fridges, I have found that Samsung only really used to do Tvs worth a damn and now that they have started outsourcing their screens, their competitive advantage there is waning also.

We've had this frig for 7 or 8 year and other than a problem with the ice maker this is the first real problem we've had. I done some research and it sounds like it might be a board problem so I may try replacing those 2 after I try one of the suggestions above. Thanks!

Our biggest problem with the fridge was also the icemaker, but also included the door and really easy denting on the outside. The icemaker was not even usable after 3 years. That is terrible for an expensive fridge.
