re: Anyone go to Blue Ridge, GA? - LSUnGA
The problem with tubing around Helen is if the water is low you are scraping the bottom a lot and possibly walking at times. That river is shallow as it is. ...

re: Relocation: Atlanta or New Orleans? (Update pg5: Central City here we come!) - LSUnGA
Alpharetta has some very nice areas and schools are very good. Biggest drawback to the Atlanta area in my mind is traffic but if you are willing to live close to your office that's a nonfactor. It's a nice area to raise a family, would be much better than NOLA to me. And I lived in NOLA area until a...

re: 2013 F150 issue when starting from a stop - LSUnGA
slip yolk
My son's 2010 F150 had this problem. But it wasn't really a shake, just a thump when you would stop and take off. He didn't seem to notice it but I did when I would drive it. Got it fixed at the dealership but I forget what it costs, I think a couple of hundred. But from ...

re: 95k combined income enough to live comfortably in the city of Atlanta? - LSUnGA
I find it funny people from New Orleans and Baton Rouge think Atlanta is a hell hole. I've lived 1/2 my life in LA and half in the ATL area, ATL is not a bad city but it has its negatives just like any where else. Now days traffic is going to suck in any major city. And you are going to have areas y...

re: A 20 year old LSU student drunk driver hits my friend's car - LSUnGA
The biggest issue is making sure their insurance is legit and they won't fight it after the fact. Without a police report, that can be hard to do.
This. If someone hits me I'm not taking any chances, the cops are being called. No way I'm taking a chance on eating someone else's mi...

re: Sources saying New Orleans trying to lure SEC baseball tourney to Zephyr Field - LSUnGA
Gwinnett is 5 minutes from my house but I think you face some of the same challenges as Zephyr Field. Although the area is much nicer than around ZF you still have a lack of hotels in the immediate area. You have 3 of 4 hotels a couple of miles away at the Mall of Georgia but then you have Suwannee ...

re: Sources saying New Orleans trying to lure SEC baseball tourney to Zephyr Field - LSUnGA
Other than being closer for LSU fans do you really think Zephyr Field is better than Hoover? Hoover has a lot of hotels in the general area and Hoover is definitely nicer than the area around Zephyr Field. I'd be surprised to see this happen. Only way I see it is if it goes on a rotation and I'm not...

re: Is it weird to eat at a restaurant by yourself? - LSUnGA
I travel one or two weeks a month for work and I eat alone pretty much all time, doesn't bother me at all. At lunch I'm usually in and out of someplace pretty quick but at dinner I'll take my time. But to me it's not weird at all. ...

re: Thoughts on moving SEC Baseball Tourney to Louisiana - LSUnGA
My understanding from clients in the area is you would not want to walk too much around the new stadium in downtown Birmingham. And I don't think you have easy access to as many hotel choices there as compared to Hoover. I've only been to the Memphis stadium once but I did stay downtown and just...

I think I'd find a better area to stay in before I'd think about what I'm going to eat. If it was me I'd probably stay around the Galleria and just drive to that area each day. ...
