Robertson weighed the cobbler and announced that it was officially the largest in the world.

"We got a final measurement of 2,251, meaning a new Guinness World Record, and officially an amazing fruit pie."

The peach cobbler not only broke records, but was also meant to be enjoyed.

"One of the official guidelines is that the fruit cobbler has to be edible," says Robertson.

Well I'm glad Ruston finally has something going for them. But how long before they decline the Guinness record in hopes of receiving a better record book invite?

I don't like cooked fruit. Fruit cooked with sugar is worse. Peach cobbler, banana pudding, apple pie...

Raw apples, bananas, peaches, et al are great. Once they're mixed with sugar and have heat applied to them you can count me out. Whatever that crust on peach cobbler is made out of looks like snot to me.

I visited Ruston a few years back. I don't know what the temperature was but man even my knees was sweating. Add the piece of shite town and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Ruston reminds me of East Texas.
