you find any blood trails, or drag marks?

There's an old communist saying about the accuracy of defense estimates. Take the quoted #, divide by half, one third of that is your likely "actual" number

Congrats commies! You killed 25 guys

They're capable but NATO/U.S. pilots and platforms are superior, in another league. Russian air forces would just be an aggravation, kind of like how a mosquito can be aggravating but in short time, NATO would own the skies and bring that Federation to its knees. Their Naval forces (surface) would be on the bottom of the sea with a quickness as well.

I think that us and Russia, are actually working together.. To destroy as many extremists as possible, while at the same time keeping our rivalry intact so that the war machine keeps getting fed.. It's a win win.. and most of the extremeists die..

If Russia has killed any ISIS fighters in Syria, it's purely by accident. They're entire reason for being there is to prop up Assad, and their missions are against Assad's enemies, which are completely different groups than ISIS.

Screw you for making me downvote a thread involving the deaths of 100+ Isis members.

NATO can call those rattletraps whatever f-word they want. The Navy just calls them snapper reefs.

Putin is a two bit thug but it blows my mind why we wouldn't team up with them on common interests, like killing ISIS.

Oh, that's right. We created ISIS so there's that.

Look at all those terrorists. Putin and Assad are such badasses.

Why are we letting this happen to these people? We need a leader with some balls.

That's not true. ISIS wants to overthrow Assad just like the other rebel groups. Russia views them all as enemies since they all want to remove Assad.

You have no clue about ME politics. Assad is an abhorrent dictator, but he is also relatively secular. He is indeed fighting ISIS. All of the rebels would be much more hardline than him. This is why this conflict is much more complex than a simple good guy vs. bad guy.

A good example of this are the Syrian Christians. Under Assad Syrian Christians lived more or less in peace. But both ISIS and the "moderate" Rebels (the ones we are supporting openly) are systematically exterminating Christians in areas they control.

Pretty much this. Remember when we got rid of Mubarak in Egypt. What happened? The Muslim Brotherhood "won" an election. Realpolitik means that sometimes you keep the stable force in power even if they are they terrible as long as they are relatively supportive and don't destabilize the region. This is why Israel more or less supports Assad.

Netanyahu in Moscow saying Israel will not join any attempts to unseat Assad
