All the rouses in the Lafayette area are good.

Sucks that Leblanc's is struggling tho. Shopped the drusulla one for 4 years until moving permanently to Lafayette last year.

I'll say the further south you go the better quality Rouses seems. Those that took over LeBlancs are all horrible from my experience. I've shopped in Plattenville, Donaldsonville, Gonzales, Prairieville, and the big Prairieville location and refuse to stop in for any meat or produce anymore. I've started shopping more at Harvest in Dutchtown and Ralph's.

same. I'm going to try to get meat from Calvin's and the rest at one of the local stores in AP. I try to shop only in AP but, they are making it tough.

I haven't been a long time.

Is the craft beer selection still decent in there or did Rouses destroy it.

LeBlancs had a nice craft beer thing going, they even had a monthly beer club.

frick Rouses.

It's pretty good, as far as non-LA beers go. Sometimes you'll find Ghost, Opus, and Jucifer there. The one off Juban is more reliable for Jucifer as of late.

There are no more LeBlanc's stores. They sold their stores to Rouses.

I live in Pollard so have been an Albertsons customer for a while now. It's mind blowing how understaffed that entire store is, last Sunday I walked into the store, saw they only had two registers open with 10 people in each line, and immediately walked out.

What street are you on? I live there too.

I stopped going to that Albertsons a long time ago. I think the college one is easier to get to if you cut through Concord. (Also a little bit closer)

Why doesn't Calvin's have prices for their party trays on their website?

This is a damn lie.

This....it seems over the past 3 years or so that Rouses has really slipped . I moved back here(Northshore) from Memphis and was looking forward to Rouses and the selection I used to remember. It's not as good anymore. Meat is bad....although the in house sausage is still pretty good. Overall for meat I go to Acquistapace in Covington.

In BR though still hard to beat Calandro's and Calvin.

Question: Is Adrien's on Congress in Lafayette still open? He and Veron's used to have really good meat ....anything you wanted they could get

Not sure if this has been posted here but Rouses owner has announced he will be at plaquemine Rouses, formally Leblancs to meet with and answer questions about the rapid decline of the store.

Possibly the beginning of Mr Rouse 2017 "tour" as many other locations are suffering same fate.
