Mobile - Prichard and the area around Ladd Stadium. Also, Dauphin Island Pkwy has always been pretty rough, but there are badass waterfront homes there, too.

Not a major city, but Lower 3rd in Alexandria is not where you want to be when the sun goes down.

I wouldn't classify any Delta towns as major cities, but the only place in the Delta I ever felt uneasy was in Clarksdale at the Double Quick on North State Street.

Como, MS, which borders the Delta, is frightening at night.

You talking about the area by the WalMart at Forest/Abrams/LBJ?

That is another rough spot. 5 Points is just east of Greenville at Park Lane. There used to be a Sam's right there.

No I was not uncomfortable, it was dozens of kids running all over the streets in broad daylight. I would go 10 mph because I didn't want to run over anyone. People going all out doing BBQ in front yard, women hauling kids it was definitely different from most of MS

Yea I went to that Sams right before it closed. Thinking I was in a good area since there's a damn Nordstrom 1/4 mile away and Royal Oaks is 1mi up the road.

Pike Place Market

That's a tourist area and part of downtown. shite happens in downtowns and its rare if a bum shoots a bum in Belltown. I live in Wallingford(safest place in the city) and go through there everyday.

Battle of Seattle in the late 90s was the only time I avoided downtown.

Sure. And I just imagined all the junkies and hookers around Pioneer Square. GTFO. And that drive through Burien where I almost got carjacked, that gave me a big warm secure feeling.

And that nickname of Heroin Central, that's cuz it's so darn safe. Just like Mayberry. Except for angry crack hos with guns.

Seattle is a GREAT town. I really believe that. But to say it has no bad areas? That's bullshite.

Last year. But I spend more time on Vashon than in the city.

And I walked around Ballard by myself at night and felt pretty safe.

Alright. Maybe I'm cracking too much on Seattle. I actually love the place. But it ain't all safe.

Bizarre. I don't know what to tell you. I've never seen pimps and ho's in Pioneer Square.

eta-there's a great upscale toy store on that corner.

I live in pioneer square. Tons of homeless but they are harmless. Def a problem though.

Almost carjacked in Burien? Lol. I work in Tukwila and drive through Burien daily. It's def safer than any neighborhood in BR.
