In the hospital with my wife. She was fighting Leukemia and was more worried about our friends in Louisiana than she was about her own troubles.
She survived and so did our friends!

Right outside Baton Rouge to the east thinking my front windows were about to blow out. Spend the next week in a hot and humid house without power listening to helicopters. When I went to get in line for gas I saw nothing but army type vehicles hearing East in I-10

Working with a couple of groups to get together emergency supplies to bring to NOLA once we saw the devastation

On 31st we took off in 9 big trucks packed full, took us 2.5 days to get to there due to closures & having to head north & came in from Jackson

Absolutely nothing I ever want to experience or see again
