The family and owners may be great, however all it takes is for one or two bad employees who aren't committed to excellence to change the reputation of a business quickly.

I have had MULTIPLE problems with them on MULTIPLE occasions with two vehicles I purchased from them. Mark, the previous truck service guy was great then they fired him and put Klienpeter in charge. At some point, the GM had to get involved and he was worse than Klienpeter. I was so pissed I actually quit buying Fords because of these clowns.

True. Years back they had a solid rep for customer service. Seems they would go overboard to keep customers. Maybe it's changed? Donno.

You want this guy to put his real name on a post made on a message board with tens of thousands of readers? Are you stupid, son?

You should be thanking the OP for saving you from doing business with these schmucks.

Wait. Dealerships, ingeneral, suck?

But I thought they were so important to the public that we needed legislation to protect them from evil companies like Tesla.

I wish I had the money to buy a Tesla just to say frick-you to the dealerships. That, and if they made a truck.

Do they have carpet inside the dealership? If so take piss on it, say you're not responsible, and walkout.

I am so delighted with the service department at a local dealership that I am strongly inclined to buy the same brand of cars in the future simply for that reason.

I used to own a few cars of another brand. Their service department was okay, but I got sick of them always trying to upsell me on shite and reminding me it was time for my ___ mile service. I burned out on it, and I'll never buy that brand again, even though they make good cars.

A friend bought another brand car. Their local dealer hit him for documentation fees and other add-on bullshite for a damned oil change. I scratched that brand off the purchase list right then.

Dealers should keep this in mind. They may screw people out of a few bucks in the service department a time or two, but that will be the last money they get from them or their friends and family.

Purchased my new F150 from there. Got home, dropped the tailgate, and noticed someone had drawn a couple of swastika on the inside panel (only viewable once the tailgate was dropped) with the chalk stick they use during their final inspection before turning the vehicle over to the buyer. I could have gotten it off with some soap and water, but I decided to pass by there and show the sales manager, assuming he would like to know about something like this. Guy completely blew me off, not even offering to get one of his $6/hr guys to clean it off. Will most definitely not buy another vehicle from them guys again.

I've only been a couple of times for service but I've always thought the service was incredible. Now all star in DS was terrible for me.

1. I would go to dealer and ask to speak to Chip or Mackie. Tell them you have all day to wait

2. If they will not see you then :

Send a registered letter to Mackie and Chip with a

CC to :

-Finance Company that financed your vehicle if this applies-

-La Attorney General, Consumer Protection

-Your personal attorney

-Ford Regional Manager( this will do little but makes everyone nervous when they see the all the atty's cc'd

-BBB

Make sure the first paragraph says you tried to meet personally with them but could not get an appt

I have heard horror stories from Robinson, from sales department not having vehicle brochures and taking 20+ to greet customer to profiling a customer right away with questions before showing a vehicle. Service I heard is terrible, they dont screen the techs they hire, and take days to get to a service ticket. As a person that sales cars, and works hand in hand with my service advisors and service customers, I talk to tons of our service customers to make sure their car is giving them no troubles and that service is nothing but great. If I find a vehicle that is giving someone trouble, I try to either fix problem on vehicle or put them in another vehicle, if its financially exceptable for them. Before sales, I was in customer service industry for over 10 years, so its in my trait to make sure people are happy before, during, and after the sale.

I made a huge error buying a new 2009 f150 from Robinson brothers.
Service was very poor and service manager was not very friendly.
Sales manager was also not very apologetic for the issue I had.
I did speak to chip Robinson and he really did not seem to care.
They want to sell you a vehicle but after that good luck.

i do like all star ford's service in prairieville.
I bought a 2007, 2011,2013 F150 & 2013 escape titanium package, and I got 2015 F150 on order from them. So far they treat me right on service and I find their pricing on new vehicles to be better than Robinson brothers.
