What an amazing man and loss for New Orleans.

RIP to an amazing man who accomplished so much while remaining as humble as any human could.

Edit: I suck and didn't read the full article and completely misunderstood. Downvote away. Nonetheless, a loss for New Orleans.

It wasn't the woman. It was her husband. "The namesake of the restaurant "

It's not her, the chef, who died. Her husband is who the restaurant is named after.

I've called myself out in the OP. My bad, started celebrating thanksgiving early and screwed up.

Honestly, when I think of Dooky Chase's, I immediately think of Leah. So when I saw the article I immediately thought it was in regards to her.

Combined with the loss of Dr. Sir Master Chef Ronnie Seaton earlier this year, a really devastating couple of months for New Orleans dining

I remember Dooky Chase from when I was a kid. Well, on the playground it was just a game of chase till I crapped in my pants. Good times.
