The music world lost a great one. It's sad to see legends like this pass as we are left with shite like Miley Cyrus.

He was a talented, classy guy. I wish more entertainers would copy how he lived. He will be missed.

ETA...there used to be a clip of him playing A Certain Girl with Levon Helm, Elvis Costello, and Richard Thompson. It was removed a few months ago from Youtube...but it was absolutely awesome. If I can find it, I will post. Till then...maybe this will do.

Wow hate to hear that, sat in on a talk at jazzfest he was having with other old timers it was cool to hear how they got started.

I remember him at Jazz Fest this past year. He played great...what a terrible loss. RIP Allen.
