I just recoded 42 minutes on top of I-10/I-110.

I've been stuck on Highland Road north bound headed toward I-10 for at least 30 minutes.....but I think this is the only time in my life that I'm not even remotely frustrated or angry about it. After reading this thread I can't wait to get home and search for pics and videos of this spectacle.

Random cars have blocked 61 south just before the 110 interstate. Both lanes. Not cops blocking. People getting angry.

I cried when it came by. Can't remember the last time I've shed a tear. Lots of them today.

We stood on Highland Road near Blue Bayou and Waffle House. The procession started by us at 1:00 pm. Everyone had flags and when the rain started very few people left. We are soaked. But the guys in blue do much more for us every day.

I was with a couple BRPD officers paying respect and when the kids past by, they were blowing kisses to the officers.

So very heartbreaking. I can't bear to think of the pain his family is feeling right now. A beautiful send off, but life will go on when it's all over and they will still be reeling.

Just a horrible situation for the three lady family members. But trust me, when I am made the Assistant Manager of Hell ( because I'm driving the school bus down there ) I will tend to this human. Pray for all the family's involved.
