I went to the visitation. Very touching seeing all of the officers from all over the country there. It was touching seeing what his mother said about picking up her boy. I know his mother as she babysat both of my kids years ago. By far one of the best people I have had the honor to know. She and her husband were a big part of my kids life before they went off to school. We moved to Prairieville and still drove over to her house so my daughter could have the same love and attention that Mrs. Emily showered upon my son. This saddens me like it does so many others. I knew Brad kind of in passing as sometimes he would be there when I would drop off my kids. It is great to see this city come together. I only wish it would last.

Good to see everyone out again today. Hopefully all of this support cops are getting here spreads throughout the country. I'm sure they feel it in LA at least

I was out on the corner by Costco. Could hear the cops saying 'holy shite' as they turned the corner and saw walls of people as far as they could see.

Look at the name on the front of that motorcycle... Looks like "Cpl. Nick Tullier". If that's his motorcycle, that just adds another amazing touch. It lets part of him be in this procession even though he couldn't physically be there.

#unBRoken

When the two officers aren't charged, I hope locals tell the out of towers to frick Off AND tell Gary Chambers his 15 minutes of fame is over.

Was across from BRPD and it was thick with people showing support. LEO from other states looked truely amazed.

I thought an especially moving sight was when Sheriff Gautreaux bowed down on one knee behind the hearse after the casket was transferred from the carriage. He said he had never buried an officer in 39 years of law enforcement. Heartbreaking.

That is the motorcycle. It's in a picture on the Gofundme page for him.

I'm glad there was a good turnout for the procession. I went to yesterday's for Matthew Gerald but couldn't make it to today's. I'm hoping to go to Monday's for Officer Jackson.

I have been able to attend both and it's amazing how much support there has been. Have they released the route for officer Jackson yet?

It's been interesting reading comments on this site by people who knew him growing up. I know people who grew up with his dad. It's easy to forget how small and close our Gulf Coast world is, and how many lives and families are affected by the loss of one.
