Found the GoFundMe pages for some of them:

Kim Dietz, 59 year old student, daughter attends same school

Rebecka Carns, 18 year old freshman

Lucero Alcarez, 19 year old pre-nursing student

Quinn Cooper, 18 year old freshman

Treven Anspach, 20 year old, wanted to be a firefighter

Lucas Eibel, 18 year old freshman, quadruplet

Jason Johnson, 34 year old student

Lawrence Levin, 67 year old assistant English professor

Sarena Moore, 44 year old business student

Not sure about any of the injured people, other than Chris Mintz I don't know if any of their names have been made public.

Heartbreaking. One was the son of a firefighter and one the daughter of an EMS responder.

Shooter committed suicide per the coroner. Sheriff said there was an exchange of gunfire between the shooter and the two officers who were there and the shooter was neutralized at that point insinuating that the officers did hit him, but ultimately per the coroner he shot himself. Interesting. He said there is still an investigation regarding that. Sounded like they'll release more details when the investigation is concluded. That investigation is being conducted by a different entity. I would assume to determine whether it was a good shoot, which is the norm as I understand it.

I always wish these guys wouldn't kill themselves. Not from a prison sentence standpoint, but for a chance to get to look into their mindset surrounding the events

It's the cowardly way out, which is what they are.

Sounds like this guy may have left enough on his computer to figure that out with the exception of a mental examination. I tend to want them to live so they can suffer through it all, but on the other hand, I don't want them able to spew their vitriol, which sometimes happens. Families don't need to be subjected to that.

At least he didn't get to take his own life without being shot and stopped first. I'm glad he knew that though it may not have meant much.

Someone at the presser also warned about some fund raising sites which might not be on the level and to check thoroughly before donating. She also warned that some charity organizations had a lot of administrative fees which take part of the donations.

No where in that does it require a mental exam, so if you don't have a record yet, you are good to go no matter how crazy you may be.

Yeah well that whole pre-crime thing only exists in movies. This guy may have been autistic or maybe something else but a mental exam isn't some magic totem that will filter good buyers after a simple test. Maybe you should do some research on what mental illness is and maybe examine the spectrum of just the more common problems. Then you might have a faint clue of just how idiotic requiring a mental health exam to buy a firearm actually is. That shallow thinking problem you have is still an issue.

ell, with the VA tech guy he had a mental record and still was able to buy weapons.

In your own quote you should see that it was an enforcement issue and not a law issue.

The silent majority still exist. They step up when they need to and they think their efforts will not be futile. I still have hope that what seems like the norm now is not our true America, but a façade created by a liberal media, politicians, and their minions to help make their deviant, irresponsible lifestyles and choices more acceptable. Ultimately, good people will rally and put an end to this bullshite...but things are gonna have to get worse, a lot worse I'm afraid. Those of us with something to live for and something to lose don't have anything to gain, but everything to lose if we are attacked by the left. But, there will come a time that we cannot and will not sit idly by. We will show the strength and will that those destroying this country cannot muster. As Reagan said, we are a peace loving people and want to avoid conflict if possible, but there is a line we will not cross, a price we will not pay for "peace". We are mankind's last, best chance for freedom on this planet. I still feel our best is yet to come.

It appears he had Asperger's and mental issues, plus Mom was a gun fanatic.

LINK

I also read that he left a note saying people would ask how this could have been prevented, but he says, it would not have been.
