Buddy of mine was driving down I-12 and the sunroof on his Honda Ascord just shattered. Luckily, the inside slider was closed and prevented most of the glass from coming inside.Probably a large object from another vehicle hit it - he heard a sound.

Honda wants $600 just for parts to replace it. Labor on top of that. Any alternatives to bringing it in to the dealer? Safelite doesn't do sunroofs.TIA.

Should not devalue the Honda Accord.

If your buddy doesn't want water in his car take it to the dealer and have them do it. At least then it will have a warranty
