So let me get this straight… This guy comes into this thread and asks for advice, which is almost universally Atlanta, and he still picks central city?
Bruh.

Sounds like he made the right call

I wouldn't move to Central City. Find a nice place on Galvez instead.

OP starts thread asking for help making a very important decision with many factors and long term implications.
Does the exact opposite of what 99% of the people in said thread suggest based on their own personal experience.
Thanks members in thread for helping make his decision.
Can't make this shite up.

What's funny about Mandeville. While the northshore is far from perfect, it beats the hell out of living south of the lake.
A gump who thinks he knows about NOLA.

You are a woman aren't you. You ask for advice and then completely ignore it

The northern ATL suburbs are some of the nicest in the country.
However the areas north of the ATL are just better in pretty much every facet

You'll be divorced in 3 years. Awful decision.

There was no decision made. It was a troll.
Here's the evidence you need.
OP stated he talked with wife...he's actually gay.
Case closed.

Wait a second, NOLA has multinational corporations?
Obvious troll.
And I'd def. choose ATL, although not sure about the whole biking to work thing there.

Bad choice, Atlanta > New Orleans.

I think most of the people who would have actually suggested New Orleans knew he was trolling. Obviously, he doesn't have to live in Central City, just because he works there.

If you would base a life decision on just what the OT Lounge thinks then you're dumber than I thought

Yes. Yes you can. The entire scenario in the OP is made up.

I'm a Gump. And while I don't live there anymore, I've experienced more of New Orleans than many born and raised there.
I've played jazz fest multiple times. I used to drum for the Wild Tchoupitoulas and another Mardi Gras Indian tribe. I've drummed in Mardi Gras parades, second lines, and several bars on Frenchmen St. I've also inspected state and parish infrastructure work, including the Huey P.
There are plenty of bammers that not only know about Nola. We've made it a better place to live.
