Personally I think you have a lot better options than St Gabriel.

So the whole "newly single" part means you're suggesting a bit closer to BTR due to entertainment options? As silly as it sounds, I feel like I have a spiritual umbilical connection to BTR; no matter what complaints about it people have, I still love it. I'll certainly not exclude the south-/souteast side of the city.

Assuming you aren't waiting for cops because your door was kicked in or your car broken into.

Not living here!

I travel a ton for work, but with the new branch opening, that'll come to an end pretty quick.

Hwy 22, near the intersection at Hwy 16, Livingston/ Assension parish line... Hwy 22 crosses the waterway.

3 schools on the corner of 73 & 74 are the cause of traffic. Depending where you work, you can probably avoid that.

I lived right next to old mill for 3 years and loved it. You are right by interstate and can be in Baton Rouge in 10-15 minutes. Lived in galvez before that and hated it. I like convenience.

Yep, worth a drive out if you have never been this way. My neighborhood has a couple that might be in your price range.

Yeah, I agree with this. I'm in Pville and can be to Town Center in 25 minutes on a Friday night at 7:00. Galvez is 15-20 minutes further and is just way out there. Gonzales is sort of the same. If I had a recommendation I would say east of hwy 74 to west of 44, parish line to 621/airline/44 for north/south boundaries. That is me though.

Hey OP, have a house for sale right now in your price range. Have a buyer in he line, but always need a backup.

They hit stuff from oak alley to arceneaux road from what I heard. That covers about half of 74.

Anywhere on 74 from Bluff road to the I-10 overpass. If you kids the schools in the area are great

I live off 74 near Bluff Road. Utilize Bluff Road all the time to access Old Perkins and even Airline Highway, And we use 74 to access 30 for LSU games or go one intersection over for River Road.

Spanish Lake Primary is a great school - located off Bluff Road.
