I have a 1969 VW and if you have larger than a 34 waist you aren't buckling the seat belt

Lol at that chart. Maybe for a sedentary person. I'm 5'10 205 and it says I'm obese. I've put on some weight but wouldn't call myself obese or even very overweight at all. When I'm 185, I have a six pack and I'd still be considered overweight according to that

i saw the fattest man i've ever seen ambulatory, in the Missoula Lowe's store yesterday, so sans his fat arse, MT would probably be even thinner. CO people are freaks though. The times I've run, skied, hiked, etc. there, there were multitudes of skinny-assed crazies zooming by me.

Florida way too low, Rednecks up north and old Latinos down south. I guess their daughters offset it.

BMI over estimates the body fat for people who are large framed / muscular. May NBA and NFL players like Lebron James and Calvin Johnson would be considered over weight according to their BMI but that's obviously not true. So BMI isn't really an accurate indicator of body fat.

Very true. Unfortunately insurance sees us all as the same. However, I'm a weight lifter and I fought my life insurance about my premium ( principle people, but still ot poor) and I won.

go to europe and you will realize how fat americans really are.
I'd much rather look like myself and so many other 6' 190lb men than what Europeans look like.

I wish I was working with people with a brain like you. They did take my measurements but it took my blood work to make the difference. Lol.

I've always wondered how they gather this data. It's not like everyone in the state has a weigh off. Healthy people don't go to the doctor as much so it can't just be that.
