...rant on new LA Fitness on Seigen

I signed up for LA Fitness 2 months ago. The place seems nice and everything was new. Since then Ive been noticing that all the equipment is covered in old sweat. I use the same treadmill everyday which is right next to another treadmill that had an old napkin stuffed in the cup holder. Usually I would have thrown it away but i wanted to see how long it would stay there. Lol...3 weeks! No wonder why nobody cleans after themselves bc they have thin little napkins and a push button sanitizer. The sales people all sit at their desks and try to one up each other with drinking their (milk jug) gallons of water. Service sucks! More than anything i hate having to give the front desk people my keys to check me in after theyve been chomping down on cheez-its!

I alternate between two Snap's. They are well managed, and both are immaculate at all times. I'm sure that varies by location though...

I go to 3. They are damned clean and 2 of the 3 provide sweat towels. 2 of us for $54 a month for last 3 years no contract. I'll never leave Snap unless something drastic changes.

I've heard the planet fitness in Baton Rouge sucks. I also heard they had a pizza party last week. Sounds like a healthy gym...no lunkers

Its basically what you get from a lot of big box gyms, though they should employ a cleaning staff if they are big.

That reminds me of a tldr gym contract nightmare. Fitness factory in Plano cornholed me good. They were bought by 24 HR fitness as I planned to move to Mockingbird station(200 ft from a 24 HR fitness). Well that was not a corporate location and couldn't transfer membership. The kicker was I moved 23 miles away from old gym, 2 miles below the 25 miles required to terminate contract. $600+ arse plowing. Grrrr still 15 yrs later.
