What is it that you don't like about panerai? Is it just aesthetics?

I just don't like the way that they look. It's not my style

That one is pretty cool.

I'm not OT Rich so I've got this watch. Love the left hand side stem.

Gaston, I've been watching that Stowa watch for awhile now

I think it might be my first legit watch purchase. Whenever that may be.

Yea, 40th birthday for me. I sure hope it comes in by then. Exactly 5 weeks from today. I ordered it mid November. Europeans probably take a damn month off over the holidays though.

Laco

That's a 42mm (maybe 45mm?) he's wearing, and it's just on his right arm is why the crown is facing away from his hand. That's how I wear mine as well, which is why I'm buying one with a sapphire crystal this time. My pilot watches get the shite kicked out of them.

That 45 mm handwinding version is quite the historical piece. I doubt I could pull off 45mm, so I'd be forced to the 42 - which is still quite large.

I realize that. I just like the overall look and feel of that one along with the Panerais and that first Sinn you posted.

You know anything about Russian watches?

This one is nice with that 9 O'clock crown.

I'm interested in lefty watches as well, so I could actually wear them on that arm. Wilson Watch Works sells a great looking, IMO, titanium sterile diver that's left handed.

ebay auction for that exact watch

All that orange and Broke just jizzed in his pants.

Orange and busy divers/pilots watches are to me.

That one isn't bad but I wouldn't have an orange strap.

The most orange I can handle is a thin second hand. I did buy this band for my current pilot, just to ad some color. Everything I wear is earth toned so a bit of color can't hurt. Not sure I'll like it though.

I've been contemplating getting this lately

But yesterdays thread really has me considering this, plus it comes out about $1000 less.

Go in between and get a different Calibre 6.

Then buy a nice leather/croc band to wear it on.

That's actually not the exact one now that I look closely. The one I want has a silver casing with rose gold hands numbers.

I think the dial to case ratio is off a bit. I'd rather see a bigger dial on that Ball watch. Just my opinion though.

I gave up my all black Planet Ocean for the Sub and I kinda regret it. The PO just feels like it could survive a nuclear war - I love the click of the clasp when you put it on. Ah well.
