I know not to be loud, but what are some other things the OT has experienced or frowns upon?

That damn squeaky bed can really throw you off when there is company in the house.
Being conscious of it really fricks up your rhythm.
So my experience says use the floor.

If someone is staying at my house, whether friends or family, IDGAF.
If i'm at someone else's, you have to be sneaky. Bathrooms don't squeak, neither do bedroom floors.

We just stayed in a hotel last week that had a bed that - just rolling from side to back sounded like I was banging a rhino. It's one thing to get caught doing something naughty. It's quite another to sound like you're getting more than you actually are.

I remember going a trip with my girlfriend and her parents in college. We had one hotel room with two double beds. I woke her up in the middle of the night and had a little side doggy style. That is the go-to position. If the parents wake up, you can act like you're just spooning. Good times
