For those required to wear the suit/tie combo... how many suits do you own?

We get a business casual friday, so I'm only required 4 days/week.

I have two suits, and other piecemeal-ed attire.

Also, how often do you visit the dry cleaners?

I hate bringing clothes to the cleaners. I swear everything shrinks.

Suits should not go often.

In my previous employer I wore a suit every day.

I had 6 suits and would wear one 2-3 times and send it to the cleaners

Slacks and a blazer. Keep a tie in the office.

Other days suit.

I like "dressing up"

I don't really have to currently (typically dress pants and a button down), but most other employers in my line of work require a tie (I'm not wearing a tie without a jacket ).

Kinda looking forward to my next job change when I'll have to dress more professionally.

I rarely wear a button down shirt

Mostly polo shirts and slacks

I could wear jeans every day but I don't like them in the hot summer

I only wear them when meeting with clients. But you get used to it.

Had to at my last firm. Rotated about 5-6 suits and some other sportcoat combos when I could.

Went to dry cleaners once a week, still do despite being business casual. Suits don't go that often obviously, but shirts do.

I could pretty much get away with wearing whatever I want currently. When I do go into the office I may see a coworker or two. Some days in the office I don't see anyone. I still dress nicely, though

In this heat I do wear polo's on occasion.

I don't mind suits, but I HATE ties. I really do not understand the point of them at all. They just look stupid and have no purpose. Where I work, my office generally wears slacks and a button down every day.

So for a 4 day suit/tie week, I should probably shoot for 3 suits and a couple blazer/slack combos?

I'm severely under-stocked. Like I said I have two and one is a cheap POS from Jos A Banks.

Are blazer/slack combos permitted for you? In some places, a suit means a suit. I know places where blazer/slacks are considered business casual.

Yes I can definitely do a pieced together combo. Nothing too casual though.

I wear a suit everyday. I have about 25 suits ranging from cheap arse Joseph a. Banks to a very nice bespoke suit from London. I bring 10 suits to the cleaners every month, and pick up the ten suits I am going to wear.

I have an embarrassing number of shirts. Well over 300, and I make a shirt trip once a quarter. I bring 60 shirts everytime. I had a problem with them losing my shirts, so know I know that it will be 60 every time.

On Fridays I wear a sports coat with slacks and ah open color dress shirt.

My company does not require a suit, I wear one because I like wearing them. My grandfather wore suits anytime he left his house, except when he went to the feed store. I got the ethic from him.

I'm sure glad I don't have to get dressed up for work anymore.
